Nice photo! The unit clearly has the Japanese suburban train looks! :D

Japanese styled train, running in a North American line in a city with a British style name. Now I've seen everything!

Nice, the new MUs! Do you think they'll start having some M-8s on Shoreline East? (since they can run under all voltages, and the Shoreline East and...PART...of Metro North, or at least its "CT stock" are owned by the same entity)

I'm not sure. So far this is a Metro-North order.

According to a couple of websites, Shoreline East was supposed to already have M8s by 2010...but then again, MN was supposed to have all of their order by now. Just saying so because I think the M8s are all technically owned by CDOT...or are some of them owned by MNR?

If this happened, that would free up the Shoreline "unplugged" stuff for the proposed commuter route between New Haven and Springfield. And I suppose, also, you could have joint MN/SLE trains that change crews in New Haven.

Anyways, awesome picture, and the curve lends to an interesting angle!
